Anything handmade and creative can be sold on Coriandr.
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage people to fly the Coriandr flag and spread the word whenever possible. The only catch is that you can't significantly alter the logo, and you must ensure that the product or service you are promoting holds true to Coriandr's handmade creativity ethos.
Good news! It costs nothing to become a seller, and only 20p to list an item (and this includes your own web address!) Where else can you get a paypal enabled shop with your own web address, order and payment systems, plus customer support, for 20p?!
Other than the initial cost of 20p per listing, we take a small commission on each sale. Currently this is set at 2.5%.
The good news is that your listing will never expire! Unlike other marketplaces where you gamble on them being able to make the sale for you before your listing expires, every single item on Coriandr is a permanent listing.
As a seller, you've probably got a Paypal account, yes? Good news then, because we use Paypal to process our seller invoices.
Not at all. We also offer the ability for you to settle your account via credit or debit card, using Paypal as a processing gateway.
Simply answer the questions on the registration page and you'll have a shiny new seller's account all of your own. Then add a postal address and at least one accepted payment method to your account, and you can start listing items!
If you joined as a buyer and are feeling a few crafty flushes, you can upgrade to a seller's account in a flash! Go to your account details page and tick the box that says "make me a seller", enter your password to confirm, and that's it!
As long as the image is under 6 megapixels (roughly 2400 pixels square) and no larger than 2mb in size, it should upload without any problems. We accept most standard web images; png, gif, or jpg.
Simply let us know the email address associated with your Paypal account and we can start processing your payments for you.
Certain Paypal accounts (e.g. Business Accounts) allow you to setup "Postage Calculations", which are really useful tools that allow you to set postage costs based on the value of the item being bought. If you have setup Postage Calculations, Paypal will use these values regardless of what Coriandr tells Paypal the postage costs should be. To stop this happening, Paypal allow you to enable "transaction-based postage" which lets Coriandr override your "Postage Calculations" for the order we want to process. This must be enabled for Coriandr to ensure it handles your order correctly.
Log into your Paypal account, and go to "Profile" then "Postage Calculations", in the "Miscellaneous" section at the bottom of this page is a checkbox; make sure this is ticked. If go to your Paypal profile and can't find "Postage Calculations" then you should be fine; there's no need to override something you can't set in the first place!

Seedlings are promotional tools that let you build a mini shop, then embed that mini shop into your own webpage or blog. As long as you can paste HTML code, you're good to go!
