5 Small Horn Buttons (04)

Very pretty, carved bone buttons. These have been stained with henna to give the bone a warm, deep honey colour. 15mm in diameter and approx. 2mm thick. Light weight enough for shirts, summer dresses, pillow cases etc. Our buttons are made by a craft co-operative in Kathmandu, Nepal. The horn and bone comes from farmed animals (a bi-product of the food industry). All workers are paid a fair wage, given proper skills training and employment benefits.
