my litle homage to the fairytale of the Emperor and the Nightingale in which the Emperor is given a gold and jewelled musical nightingale that sings when it is wound up.
Knit with fancy tassel feathery yarn and with gold thread eyes (tricky to see in the pics0 bird, jeweled is all rich gem stone colors of emeralds, amethysts, sapphires and diamonds. She has a purple and gray yarn beak.
Her body is about 4.5" from head to beginning of her long, elegant tail. She is stuffed with natural pure wool roving/precious.bird
