I'm delighted to offer one meter (approximately 1.2 yards) of this beautiful Indian organic handloom silk for all of your sewing projects that call for a truly unique material!

This is a heavy-weight silk brocade in silver/grey with an elegant pattern of stitching. The fabric has a metallic sheen which is not readily evident in the photos. All of the silks I offer are made by the 'ahimsa' method of non-violence - no silk worms are harmed in the harvesting and production of the silk, so it's 100% guilt-free to indulge yourself in this marvellous material!

Made in Benares, a place famous for its silk and other textiles, handloom fabric is of superior weave than that made by factory machines. Careful attention is paid to each and every thread to make a fabric of stellar quality.

You will receive one meter (about 1.2 yards) of material. The width measures about 166 centimeters (45.5 inches). If you need a larger quantity, please do contact me - I'm always happy to accommodate special requests!
