Nesting Season Patchwork Quilt

This is a 'one-of-a-kind' patchwork quilt, handmade using a mixture of pretty patterned cotton fabric and calico.
Framed by the patchwork, the central panel depicts a bird flying over high grass. The scene is machine embroidered and appliqued, and is inspired by one of many walks in the Dartmoor National Park in Devon.

There are many uses for this unique quilt, my favorites being a lap quilt to cozy up in front of the fire - indoors or out in those lovely summer evenings, a wall hanging, or a quilt for a little girl's bedroom. However you use it, it will make a great family heirloom.

Backed in (pre-washed) calico and pink floral fabric, and padded with thick batting.
Measures 47" x 45" (120cm x 115cm).
Wash cold and dry flat.
