KNIT AS MANY DONUTS AS YOU LIKE WITH THIS EASY KNITTING PATTERN.

Use two (normal) needles and oddments of double knitting weight yarn and be as creative as you like to make these donuts that look good enough to eat.

You just need basic knitting skills, including knit, purl, increase and decrease.

I have written very clear instructions, with added images demonstrating each stage, and suggestions for alternative toppings.

For those who like to knit in the round I have now added instructions for knitting in the round with dpns.

The instructions are for a normal donut (3.5 inches across) or a super-size doughnut (4 inches across).

You could give your knitted donuts as gifts, party favours, pin cushions or just keep them for yourself.
