Viking Hat with Tablet Woven Trim

This listing is for a custom-made hat in the Birka style (contact me for other styles). This style looks somewhat like a beanie but which doesn't come down over the ears!
The main hat fabric is a gorgeous madder-type red 100% wool in a twill weave. The tablet woven band is based on one found in Birka and is handwoven in 100% Shetland wool.
This hat can be made to your measurements and with your choice of contrasting or harmonising stitching. It will be hand sewn with authentic seam construction. Shown in the picture are some suggestions for stitch colours.
As this hat will be custom-sewn please allow up to two weeks for delivery.
