Description

This slightly crazy little pendant is made using a very pale pink piece of sea glass, This is a fairly unusual colour and I've only found about 4 or 5 bits that I reckon are actually pink. This is obviously quite old glass as it's thick and very rounded.
The pendant has a mount of vintage and modern seed beads, hand stitched. Surrounding the pendant is a fringe of short beaded strands ending in a variety of beads, small pendants and semi precious chip beads. Some of these beads are pretty glass hearts, small mother of pearl discs which came from a rather strange ethnic looking bracelet I bought from a junk stall and some tiny coral branches.
The pendant hangs by several loops of seed beads from a spiral rope necklace of vintage red seed beads and rainbow lustre beads in shades of purple.
The necklace measures approximately 16" and the pendant is about 1.5" across and about 1" deep including the fringe.
