Ronke Adetunji first indicated her flair for creativeness at the age of eight, when she recycled the family’s old leather furniture, making wallets and purses for sale in school. At ten she was in charge of her mum and three sisters hair, corn-rowing and braiding their hair. At twelve she learnt to knit, making a blue cardigan under her mum’s tutelage. Attending the University Lagos, she attained a two tier degree in Architecture and Environmental Sciences, supplementing her allowance with hairdressing. She then went on to obtain a postgraduate diploma in Property Management & Law at the City University in London. Ronke now works as a building surveyor and is married with two children.

Ronke has been designing and making jewellery, www.deronke.co.uk for the last three years, making semi precious beaded assorted pieces and sets with 925 silver, 22k gold vermeil, 14k gold fill, swarovski crystals and cultured/freshwater & faux pearls.
