Hello, I'm Helen. I'm originally from the Northwest of England (Liverpool, to be exact) but for the last almost 10 years, I've been living and working in the Netherlands. It's a good base for travelling to neighbouring Belgium and Germany, and we're also only a couple of hours from Luxembourg, so plenty of nice trips to be had.
I find it quite relaxing, almost therapeutic to make things - I can switch off and get really involved in what I'm doing. I love beads, and so my jewellery items are made from beads which have caught my eye, either because of their colour and shape, or because they remind me of something (sometimes flowers, sometimes sweets :-D). I enjoy making the felt items, as the bright colours and shapes make people smile. And it's always nice to have something fun and bright to look at - just because.
