I design and manufacture contemporary jewellery and craft items from recycled materials that I find or source from charity shops, friends and donations; generally things that people either have no use for or no longer need.
I am a maker following the good old fashioned principle of “make do and mend” but I bring this concept into the contemporary environmental and ethical context of “reduce, reuse and recycle”.
I have a passion for vintage buttons and beads and have been avidly collecting for quite a while now. I also hoard lots of things as I'm convinced everything will come in handy someday. So I have boxes of ribbons, zips, lace, threads, fastenings, clasps and leather.
My current product range encompasses hand crafted bracelets, earrings, badges, mobile phone charms and brooches. I also make iPod cases and pencil cases from recycled leather.
