I take photographs of nature and still life, that can sometimes be over looked.
It is the shape and colour that pulls me in and the relationship with its situation.
For me it is not just that they are good to look at but can say something else to the viewer.
Well now my craft side. I can not remember a time when my craft fingers have not been working.
It gives me great enjoyment to put together various materials, that I love the colour and feel of.
If the item is made to be used and to be useful, all the better. I have a needle case that is falling to bits,
passed on down to me and should really be hidden away but it has that feel of tenderness, so it stays within reach.
There was a day years ago when it was cut, sewn and blown a kiss then given away.........
